Does any body know if crowns are cheaper in the north or south?
Also if the north is cheaper can tax be claimed back from paying for them in north the same as in the south?

    Thanks

Op you'll find some stuff cheaper here and some stuff up there but it the key point is do your research on the type of crown you're getting the materials involved etc etc

You could probably get one for say €200-€300 down here, that doesn't mean its a better crown than one for £200-£300 up North.

also you can claim relief @ 20%

Op you can get crowns cheap and expensive in the south or north. Problem is that cheap crowns are generally shocking in appearance and quality of fit and construction. Good dentists will not offer these substandard crowns and will appear to be more expensive. Cost and value are not the same thing.

The is no cost difference north and south anymore on average (cheap NI dentists compare to the most expensive in the south and vice versa), you get a variety of cost everywhere along with variety in quality, so the question is how many days off work do you want to take and how much petrol/train tickets do you want to buy.
