Quick question, going to Vietnam next month but have not arranged visas yet. Anyone any suggestions on best and cheap way of getting this sorted? I am flying directly into Vietnam, i wont be travelling over land.

There is no embassy in ireland apparently, just wondering what anyone else did if they were going there?

We organised ours through Trailfinders last year, not sure what they charged for it, but give them a shout and they'll talk you through it.
Think they send them to the embassy in the UK...

Easiest to get a visa on arrival, that way they don't need to send your passport anywhere. You can get a letter online from sites like http://www.myvietnamvisa.com/ that will allow you to get your visa when you arrive.

I got my visa on arrival... there's a fair queue when you arrive at the airport to get the visa processed but probably easier than sending your passport to London.

These are the people we used and had no problems... http://www.vietnamstay.com/service/ cost about €15 and then had to pay $25 at the airport.

If you've any questions PM me and I'll try to answer them!

Don't do anything with embassies. Just do Visa on arrival. Easy.
