There was a reasonable influx into Ireland couple weeks ago with reports countrywide.

    Have you seen one?

    I haven't as yet.
There area couple of posts here on other threads that I may copy across to here.
    Also a thread in gardening

Saw one for the first time ever about two weeks ago. A really lovely sight, very exotic for your Irish suburban back garden.

One feeding on Buddleia in a garden near Wexford Town, Saturday 16th July. Didn't stay long as a young Blue Tit kept chasing it away.

:) Saw one at the Gearagh (near Macroom) on July 1st and the next day heard a loud whirring sound in the house and saw another!

I seen one in our front garden a week ago last sunday.
My first time my wife has seen them before even went
as far as to ring birdwatch to say she seen a real hummingbird.
Niall hatch of birdwatch Ireland was on mooney goes wild and
he said they get a couple of hundred calls every year about the
humming bird hawkmoth and people confusing it with real
    hummingbird
