Alcide joins Sookie in her search for Eric; Marnie needs help breaking a spell; Bill finds something in common with the Bellefleurs; Jason pleads for his freedom from Hotshot; Sam tries to learn more about Luna; Tommy gets back to his roots.

Going to stick it on now.

    Excellent episode.
They sure do like their incest in this show.
Loving drunk Eric, and Eric in the river. Loving Alcide tracking down Eric.
    Scary baby is hilarious.
Thank God Jason has finally escaped. That might now get interesting.
    The Mickens still bore me.
As has previously been said Pam better be fixable
Bill and his great whatever grand-daughter. Classic

I love drunk amnesia Eric the "dumbest fanger" :p

Best episode of the series so far. Pam is definitely going to have to tell Bill the truth now, this witch is too powerful.

    Drunk Eric was great :)

Eric Is pretty much the only character keeping me watching this season. The witches are ok, but other than that the storylines are pointless and boring.

I loved the other seasons and adore the books, but this season is a huge let down.

It just seems like nothing much interesting happens for the first 55 minutes, other than a few comical moments with Eric, then in the last 5 you get a couple of good bits and then that's it.

I'm giving it one more episode then I might have to put it on the back burner.

Oh my god I nearly puked when Pam put her fingers through her face!!
Loved Eric in this episode. Damn you Bill, showing up at utterly the wrong time!

Enjoyed it again - Drunk Eric being the highlight. I think Snooky (yes, that's her name now) and Eric have better chemistry than she ever did with Bill.

The witches storyline is still heating up but I do like how casually she took out Eric and now Pam (sort of). I don't think we've come close to seeing her full power.

The main thing holding this season together for me is the one-liners from Pam. God, I love her!

I'm interested to see where they take Jasons story, and I do hope Pam is ok.

I enjoyed that episode. Eric was great again, and as above, he and Snookie are more fun then Bill and Sookie ever were. Interesting to see where the witches story will go. Marney is a good character, and looking forward to that story progressing. Jason is gonna be a Warepanther now i guess. Maybe even a super powered one after the vamp blood? Pam will be fine. There's no way they'd kill her off, at least not yet.

And Bill...banging your great great grand-daughter...nice

I feel so sorry for Stephen Moyer. It must suck so much to have everyone think that about your other co-worker and your wife.

Who the hell cast Anna Paquin in this series. She is a brutal actress.

I really don't like that Marnie one.

Edit: I knew there was a reason I didn't like her. She's from Cork :D

Who the hell cast Anna Paquin in this series. She is a brutal actress.

She didn't seem as bad in season 1 for some reason, like the character was supposed to be ditzy in a way,but ye just over last season and this season she is fairly shocking. I thought she was takin the piss with some of the scenes but apparantly not.

The witches thing could be interesting, especially after what just happened to Pam,who better just heal because herself and Eric are probably the best things about this show at the moment.

If Jason becomes a panther I guess that could be interesting, but so far this season, couldn't give a toss about his story. Don't care about Hoyt and Jessica, which is sad because I liked Jessica. Couldn't give a toss about the stupid evil baby storyline.

Bill as king makes him a hell of a lot better than the previous seasons but you can just see him ending back with Sookie and the same old shit.

They need to rev up the witch story a lot more to make it more interesting.

I think it's tough to keep so many characters involved and interesting when the main focus is always going to be Sookie/Eric and their storylines.

That being said I hate the Jason storyline, thankfully he got away from Redneckville and the gang raping (we were all, not just him) enduring. That was really starting to get to me, and if I have to hear Crystal say "ghost daddy" one more time I'll stab her with a pointy tree branch myself. And why is she the only Hotshot hick with good teeth?

Hoessica are now boring, the Mickens... wtf, again? Same thing different series. Booooring. Evil baby is good for a larf or two, though I'm not convinced evil baby is evil now at all. As usual Sam leaves me less than excited, the Alcide/Debbie thing is so contrived and I wait without reward for Alan Ball to get rid of the Tara character. Or at least make her Pam's new bitch. Pam ftw.

The witch storyline is interesting enough, but apart from that... MEEEEHHHH.

I'm so sick of Tara, I never want to see her moany face again. And the Lafayette/Jesus interaction is really boring this series.

The Jason storyline is also a real snoozefest. I like the Mickens though.

And poor Pam!! I LOVE Pam!

The full cast of characters worked really well in the first series as it was basically a murder mystery and they work well if there is a long list of suspects. All of the characters had their own busy, somewhat separate lives but they were all intertwined to a greater degree. So while Sookie and Bill's relationship was the focus. Jason was screwing around, getting addicted to V, meeting Amy and holding Eddie captive. Sam was being suspicious due to his shifting, crush on Sookie and fling with Tara. Lafayette was drug dealing, Tara was going through the demon stuff with her mother, crushing on Jason and sleeping with Sam. The lesser characters alsoRene and Arleene were getting engaged, Terry was being odd and Hoyt was possibly too good to be true. No matter what they did, together or apart, they were all either suspects or potential victims.

I like the way they've cast Bill as the villain for this series, it must be great fun for Stephen Moyer to play him in a bad light. In the books he's pretty much off the scene so they had to do something to keep him as one of the main characters.

Will they ever get rid of the Mickens family? Does anyone care about or like this storyline? And Tara too - she was ok in the last episode but looked ridiculous standing there with the gun in this episode.

I like the demon baby, for some strange reason it makes me laugh!
