Im wanting to register my car in the north. I went into the DVLNI office for some info and the girl there said besides having the car MOT'd,UK Insured and with the vehicle docs that i have to show the tax disc. The tax on my machine is not up to date

Has someone here gone through the process recently? Is it an issue if the tax is not in date or is it just to verify car details?

    Any info appreciated

oooookay... so the car is Republic registered Im guessing? I believe you have to get all that done , including UK tax, on the chassis number before they will re-register it. I dont think the Republic tax not being in date is relevant.
