It's possible it could hurt like hell, if McMenamin 'got lucky' as it were, but I suspect Galvin made a meal of it as you say.

Be thankful...all it takes is a slight tap and you can be crippled for a while afterwards. :( That said, I don't think it'd cause your legs to go from underneath you like happens to Galvin. I'm guessing he fell so as to draw attention to what was done to him...not "diving" as such because there he deserved a free or Mc. to be punished. Low blow all the same.

Dublin or Donegal for the win today? I'll go with Donegal, the fathers home County. Well Tyrone is aswell, but I'm not a happy bunny with them as they beat Roscommon.

ah it was a day full of emotions in our household. my parents are both from donegal. i'm a true dub! had 36 donegal people spread out among our houses! had a great day. 6 people sleeping in my 2 bed apartment later tonight :D

i'm not gonna say i'm pleased because i feel also for donegal. i'm confused.

my parents have the sam maguire cup in their living room - sam maguire cup - 1992.

i'm a true dub but i really feel for donegal!

ah well we will go out now for a few beers and we will be happy :D

I was raging with the result. No offence to you Apache, but Donegal held the lead most of the game, then to go and lose :( The Dubs were a it rough on the day even though a few digs were thrown by both parties.

Would have been a disaster for the game if Donegal's horrible, negative football had won out. Absolutely delighted Dublin won :D

Ah now, the Dubs were a bunch of bauld feckers most of the game, throwing shoulders every which way.

Throwing 13 men behind the ball and hoping to pick off scores from frees is no way to play the game, tbh.

Ah well. It was a rough game all round so :P

Can't wait til the final. I knew the Dubs would beat Donegal :p

But to be honest I don't think we'll win the final :o:(

    Go on Kerry :P

I have never found myself shouting for the Dubs before, and I even had a few quid on Donegal, but I so didn't want to see Donegal win having played the most negative football I've ever seen a team play! Joe Brolly made me laugh afterwards when he said he was astonished that any manager had the balls to take that brand of football into the public arena :D

Atrocious tactics, no matter what Jim McGuinness of Donegal says :( but Kerry followers LOVE the prospect of playing (and beating) Dublin :)

But, on the brighter side - from this side of the country anyway - I can look forward to a nice quiet All-Ireland weekend as the OH and all of the neighbours will be "up for the match"
I reckon Colm the Gooch Cooper (captain of Kerry this year) is already practicing the "Tá an-athas orm an corn seo a ghlacadh" speech for when we win!

And get this - a discussion on the GAA in the LGBT forum. :D

(and don't forget the Rugby World Cup is coming up folks ;) )
