Just synced the iPhone there and looks like 4.3.4 is out, basically it looks like it closes at least two possible jailbreak possibilities, obviously reaction to the ease of Jailbreakme.com who recorded over a million jailbreaks in the last month

    Update contents from Wikipedia :
    Security Update
Current release for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 3rd and 4th generations, iPad and iPad 2.
This update contains changes to the iOS security system
    • Disabled the possibility of viewing a maliciously crafted PDF file that may lead to an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution
    • Disabled a malicious code running as the user may gain system privileges
    • Re-introduces the ability to cancel and delete apps that are currently downloading

    Really!
tbh hadn't checked if it was jailbroken as I was busy, but it's impressive they have, have to go find the exploit they used, as for the fact it was out a few days and me not realising well thats nothing new for me, i have the bad habbit of only syncing once a week at most! :o

Doesn't look like there's much point in me upgrading so, I'll hold off until iOS 5 I think.

Only a tethered jailbreak is available, and probably for some time. it uses a bootrom exploit that Apple cant patch without new hardware. Hence all the iOS 5 beta tethered jailbreaks we see as soon as they are release.
