Really basic outgoing e-mail server queries

Hoping someone can help me with a related few queries:-

Got a new iPhone 4 with eMobile and am trying to set up e-mail. When I'm in the office, my incoming mail server setting is mail.chordsurl.com (substituting chordsurl.com for my actual address) and my outgoing mail server is mail1.eircom.net but this only works when I'm connected through my Eircom broadband router.

Anyone know what the outgoing mail server settings for eMobile are? I can't find them on the eMobile website.

Similarly, I have a pay-as-you-go wireless internet Vodafone dongle for use on the laptop when out and about. Anyone know what the outgoing mail server settings for that are, if I want to send e-mail using it?

Finally, I'm going abroad shortly and plan to use both iPhone and Vodafone dongle. Do I need to change the outgoing mail settings when roaming?

    Thanks in advance.

the outgoing mail server all ways the one from your BB provider.so thats why it works in work when your connected using the mail1.eircom.net.

Emobile is just repackaged meteor mobile so maybe try their outgoing server?

again when your abroad it will have to be the providers outgoing mailserver, which can be a bit messy.might just be handier to log on to the webmail and check your emails there?

My email client is IncrediMail and my incoming mail server is pop.vigin.net however my outgoing mail server was mail.vodafone.ie. I switched to UPC a few weeks ago and for some reason IncrediMail crashed. I'm in the middle of getting the software up and running and can access my incoming mail on the Virgin server.
Does anyone know if there's a way I can access my sent mail from the Vodafone server?

    Thanks:)

It's highly unlikely your sent mail is stored on the server. It's normally stored on the client. In that case, there is no sent mail saved on the vodafone server for you.

Thanks Paulw. I can see that a few Sent emails are stored on my Virgin server, just thought it might be worth asking about the Vodafone server too. :)
