Just thought id through this one out there, car is running fine no problem yellow engine light came on an remains on, getting it fully serviced 2moro anyway as it's overdue, 134k miles on the clock serviced every 10k miles since i bought it at 82k

Doing a bit of research as to what it could be, finding alot of amercian sites saying valve adjustment as a big thing, not sure if amercan version of the crv is the same we get in europe,

Anyone else have a check engine issue before on a crv circa 1997-2001

Your mechanic should be able to do a diagnostic on it, I'm sure you know this but that light could mean anything from coil pack, maf sensor, cam position sensor etc. No need to worry at this stage.
