Germany to shovel climate fund dollars into coal plants

    Less than a month after the failed Bonn UN climate confab, Germany has announced a most audacious energy policy: in order to shutter nuclear plants (but not completely scuttle their economy), the German government will direct climate fund cash to building coal and natural gas plants. You can’t make this stuff up.

    It seems to me that, in their ignoring of scientific data to support rigid ideology on everything from nuclear energy to GE crops, many environmentalists are as guilty of entrenched dogmatism as the climate change deniers.

    Christopher Monckton kind of sums up those levels of ignorance...


    The stats he used is debatable and he'd be cut down by most scientists on it. However, he does illustrate a great point; know what the feck you're talking about! :pac:
