Hole in side wall = write off tyre.

Structure of the tyre means once it's been broken it'll never be as strong again. For the want of a better explanation.

Had one myself this week. Horrible.

Can she replace just one or has it too be the two front ones. she lucky she wasn't speeding as the car started pulling too the other side of the road. She is getting the continental brand. They are well worth the money i find but a 100 piece is dear in these times

How many miles has the one on the other side done?

If theres plenty of wear left it in she should get away with it if shs replacing the punctured one with the side pattern.

Check out Camskill to see how much the tyre is on it and how much shes been quoted for a replacement. Should be no more than 20euro to fit a tyre.
