    Hi guys,

    this has probably been asked before but what is the best twitter app, pref. free but doesn't have to be and has good push notifications,

    I think the app made my Twitter itself works the best for me personally but it's really about personal preference so you're best off trying them all (Echofon, Tweetdeck, Tweetbot etc.). A search using 'Twitter' should find them all in the app store.

    osfoora used to be good until a software update broke embedded youtube.

    also the fact i had to pay twice to have it on my iphone and ipad when the ui is practically the same was a bit too much.

    Echofon for me, you can sync your read tweets across iPads, iPhones, Firefox extensions, iPod Touch and Mac apps. Also lets you block hashtags or apps like 4SQ.

    Tweetbot is fantastic, and they only recently added push notifications. Much better than the official Twitter app.
