    Are these any good? My girlfriend is looking for a cheap laptop; nothing special, just for web browsing, itunes and storing photos.
    They seem pretty cheap but does anyone have experience with them?

    If you don't mind replacing it in less than 2 years then yeah should be grand. Basically they're cheap but you get what you pay for.

    They aren't bad, my sister used to have one and it was always sluggish on start up, but ok otherwise. it lasted 5 years.

    All come with a 1 year warranty
    All makes of laptops can f**k up
    I havn't had any emachines laptops returned yet!!
    It's a great price and I'd say go for it
