Looking for boots

Hi, could do with a bit of help, I'm looking for a pair of waterproof boots to wear with jeans/casual clothes. Would love if they were fleece lined or at least warm inside, but waterproof is the main thing, and a low or no heel. I just don't really know where to look, so some suggestions in Dublin would be great, or online.

Do you mean like an alternative to uggs, something a wee bit tidier? thats what I`m looking for in black. Got a peuter coloured pair in barretts last year and I`d be lost without them they were €36 I think in the sale.

Doc Martens do great mid calf boots. They're very comfortable and of course water proof.

Don't know what they'll have in for the Autumn, but there's usually a style like this one, with the heel or with their classic rubber sole.

On a related note- I have a pair of doc boots that I swear buy for winter; a pair of these fellows:



but they have majorly loosened since I bought them. I tried wearing them with thick woolly socks but the wool made my feet quite sore, so I was wondering if anyone had any idea if there are like, liners you can get to put in them- not just insoles, because truth be told they can be slightly chilly.

Sorry to hijack a thread! I think though it's useful to know.

Maybe try them with a good pair of ski socks? You should be able to get them fairly easily in the great outdoors or similar, even this time of year.
