    Hi,

I am going to see Keith Barry in the olympia in 3 weeks to see his recent show 8 deadly sins! I seen his show last year "the asylum", thought it was great and he wasn't pushy about going up on stage.

This show i know started a few days ago and i was just wondering how is he with people going on stage? I really don't want to.
I know i probably shouldn't be going if im not up for it, but i do enjoy his stuff just would rather sit in the audience!

Can anyone shed some light on this?:confused::confused:

hey just wondering if you had gone yet!!!! I was wondering the same! I read this review...http://entertainment.ie/Theatre/feature/Keith-Barry-%7C-8-Deadly-Sins/10/1484.htm. ....but it really just says that the show relies on audience participation. I was thinking a seat up the back or in the stalls would be safe enough!!!

He does get people up , but its pretty random

He'll read your name from a book you sign on the way in or for the other stuff he will chuck a paper ball into the crowd and get that person to throw it randomly again, he then repeats this throwing process!!:)

    Hope that helps

Nope we were in the very back row up top and a lad from bout half way down got called up. He said from the last show people in the balconies and upper tier complained they had no chance to participate so he decided this tour to get everyone involved!

There goes that theory so! I think I'll chance it all the same and hope for the best!!! I suppose that what makes it good entertainment ....the whole bricking it moments where you sink in to seat and try to avoid eye contact whilst participants are being selected!!!

No never saw that show. I went last night though to see it and wasnt picked out luckily but people were chosen from all over the place! The show was entertaining enough and put together cleverly.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago. While most people seemed to really enjoy it, I was left underwhelmed. It did appear to be totally random how people were picked.

if u do get called up on stage does he go deep into your head. Expose horrible secrets that could **** up your relationships or does he just do kind of mind tricks.

Going to the show in Waterford 2morrow night starting to brick it lol
