The girlfriend was at the post office on friday afternoon, que was a good 10 metres out the door and it was raining pretty heavy when a small girl joined the que at the back. her mam was in her car and got the child to que in the rain after a few minutes she sent another child over to replace the first child like shift work and of course when the que got in the shop the woman took her place in the que. surely this is some form of child abuse. if i was there i think i would have said something. some strange people living in this country

I know a local woman who gets her child to queue for her everywhere. It's almost a running joke where I live. The poor child was carrying bags of groceries and trying to pay bills. The shop owners mother went out and started shouting at her about what a lazy, useless mother she was. I've seen her out and about a lot more since!

And, did you expect her to go into hiding?

Not as bad as the woman who tried to jump the queue in the post office and when I wouldn't let her she elbowed me into the wall to get in front.

Only if she wears a white tank top and denim mini-skirt.

Did each of the children have their own balaclava and shotgun, or did they hand them over like in a relay race?

When I was their age I was walking barefoot to school and picking stones for local farmers. My hands were red raw
