Any one play Racketlon in Ireland? Are there any events ever staged here?
Couldn't find much info with google.

For anyone who doesn't know it is a new sport where players play 21 points each of table tennis, badminton, squash and tennis. Good fun especially if, like me, you are ok at racket sports in general but not excellent at any.

Intriging. I'm off to google it to find out more, if for no other reason than to run a novelty tournament in my club!

Could be a great way of getting people from other racket sports to try out the alternatives and maybe even get new members!

excellent, not that many clubs would have the facilities to host a tournament I imagine.
Really doesn't seem much happens in Ireland. I played a tournament in Wales last, was good craic but also very competitive.

    Found this FB page: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=120225614698071

And seems like there was an event on in galway before:

Any one else have any info?
It's a pity there doesn't seem to be more on in Ireland, unless I haven't looked properly.

Played in one in Trinity many many years ago, at the end of the season - was hosted by the respective raquet clubs, was fantastic fun.

I know Trinity college have travelled to tournaments in the past. If you're interested beyond simply participating, I'd suggest you contact judy@racketlonireland.com. She's in the process of officially setting up Racketlon Ireland. Maybe as a person with experience you could be of help? But even if you didn't want to ge involved, at the least she'd be able to let you know if there's anything in the pipeline for Ireland in the immediate future.

    Hi all,

Yes, Racketlon does take place in Ireland. I am trying to organise a tournament for before Christmas in Ireland. Have you played before? I have been over to Vienna and to Sweeden for tournaments. Drop me an email on judy@racketlonireland.com with your contact details. Where are you based?

    Judy
