Just looking for some advice, I need to run 2 cables into one receiver, ferguson ariva 200, one for Hotbird the other for Astra. Which one of these switches would do:

or would I need this one:

I'm assuming the 2 way would be plenty? Or is there a better option?

    Thank you in advance

The two way one would be fine, but if you got the four way one you would be 'future proofing', if you wanted to add another lnb or two to your dish, you would already have the four way switch in place to take the third or fourth cable, I presume you want the switch for 13 and 19 degrees east, you can quite easily have another lnb for 7/9 degrees east and another for 28 degrees east with the appropriate sized dish and multi lnb bracket

But having said that I've just noticed the price, €20 difference? If you went for the four way switch I would be looking on ebay for one, even with the postage costs from UK it would be cheaper than the one you linked!!

It's for 13e and 28e. The 4 way is prob the way to go alright. Thanks. There seems to be cheaper switches available on eBay, are there issues with quality do you know?

The ones I've had from ebay have been fine, just make sure you thread the cable ends properly and make sure water can't get in, you know the type of thing, a little more time now saves a lot of time later

And on the extra lnb front? I would most certainly get Astra 19 degrees east up too, plenty to see of interest with the three satellites up

Definately agree with adding 19.2° East. Some good FTA channels there.
