Vicious dog in a headlock

If you were attacked by a big vicious furious fanged beast of a dog and somehow managed to wrestle it to the ground and get it in a rear headlock, how long would you have to keep it in the aforementioned headlock until it...

(a)gave up (b)got bored. (c)got freaked out by being kept there on the ground.

also if you let it up and it tried to attack you again but you again managed to headlock it, would it eventually learn not to bother and instead be your friend, or would it just try it yet again.

Check out the end of I Am Legend....

What's the reason for being reasonable?

    Is that an unreasonable question?

Op if you know who owns the dog tell him his dog is randomly attacking people.

If it's the kinda headlock where his body is in front of you there's only one thing you should do!

Poking a dog in the kidney usually works if its attacking you.

I was expecting a video of a dog in a headlock.

lol at jake the snake video - them was the days when you could have a mustache and perm and still be allowed to throw a snake on a man in pants - without being called a fag or having animal rights on ya.

I am a vet and I recommend that you punch the dog repeatedly and threaten it with the Gaurds. An antisocial individual like this probably has previous convictions and will flee the scene.

Yes a 30% w/v solution of sucrose in water should do the trick. Then while he is still put this onto him to keep him warm

Punch him in his dog balls.

If a dog attacks you then smash him on the nose, that will soon sort him out.

If you do end up grappling with said dog then get him on his back and bite his neck...he'll soon turn bitch and submit to your dominance.

I like dogs but occasionally when I'm walking home from the shop or whatever, I pass a fairly big dog that lives near me and I think: ''What will I do if he runs for me?'' and I usually think that I'd wait until the last second and kick him in the head. But I think he could take that and fight on.

Seriously, I want to see a dog in a headlock now.

Release it, stand back and look big and confident. Don't run, whatever you do. When I get my dog in a headlock it just makes her go nuts. So I wouldn't advise it on an angry dog. Not least because it puts your face closer to their teeth.

Have a dog whistle and start blowing it furiously. It will make the fúcker stop attacking and thus make it easier to headlock him some more.

ReReginald; I briefly 'owned' a GSD that was then passed onto my kid brother.

One day, walking through a local park with my bro' and his Dog, the damn thing suddenly decided to grab a randomly passing Dog by the back of the neck.

Dogs owner started screaming like a bitch. Bro' froze in horror. Me? I stepped astride the GSD and calmly and appropriately applied the good ol' " Rangers Strangle Hold ".

GSD spat the other poor Dog out, in seconds. GSD made absolutely No move against me. He was a Dog. And a Dog learns to recognise 'GOD', once he's been shown. (And it's in No Way about harming that Dog to show him that)

Ye think I'm kidding? Wait for " Captain America ". I don't know if the scene was finally used? But; I trained the Stunt Man how to do that on the Pit Bull

(Funniest thing, to my mind, is that about 90% of this stuff is actually True! :D)
