Hi, just wondering how many chicks thrushes have?
For the past week I have had 8 to 10 young thrushes on my
lawn/ mowed field:D, every morning feeding together.
I think they must be 'related' as they are not competing with
each other , like the blackbirds I see chasing each other around.

On another note, last evening about 10pm on a walk with my two smallish dogs, they disturbed a very large badger minding his own business, who
jumped out of the ditch and ran straight towards me,( picture me like a startled rabbit), passed me by within 2 feet, huffing, and on up the lane.
I did catch my dogs before they could give chase.
First time seeing (a live)one, and by god it made my heart pump!!:)

Song Thrushes can have between 2 and 4 clutches of 3 to 9 eggs each. Mistle Thrushes have 2 clutches of 3 to 6 eggs each.

Mistle gather in reasonably large groups.
