Social welfare, house share & proof of outgoings

I'm a full time student on BTEA (JSA during summer), paying unaffordable maintenance to my ex as of late so can't afford my current living arrangements.I'm moving in with my sister but will be staying with my partner during most of the college week when that starts back as I can't afford a daily 60 mile round car trip to college.

I'll be contributing to my partner's mortgage and splitting the bills while I'm there but they are in the same position as me (student, BTEA, JSA) and don't want the hassle of explaining regular deposits into their bank account. However I need to have a record of my outgoings in case my ex sees such a dramatic change in my living arrangements as an opportunity to take more money from me.

What's the best way of proving I'm making payments without bank statements?

Do social welfare automatically have access to your bank accounts or is it only when you give them statements on request?

What I'm not asking for is a lecture about fraud and my partner needing to declare my payments as income, that's just unhelpful

    thanks in advance
