Back to Windows 7 from Ubuntu

    So I bought a netbook a couple of months back it was running windows 7. I unwisely uninstaleed it a have been running Ubuntu. I want to go back to Windows 7. But havent a clue as to how to go about doing it. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance

    Nope, it came pre instaleed on the netbook and it hasnt got a optical drive. Just a couple of USB ports,

    If you want to do it the legit way, you will have to get a disk from the manufacturer of see if there is a recovery partition on your notebook. The Dell disks work on any dell unit so you may be able to borrow. Make sure you get the appropriate version (i.e. starter ultimate etc). The version and activation key will be stuck to the bottom of the machine and you will need the key to activate windows after installation .

    When you installed it, did you wipe the entire disk, or just install it alongside windows? IF you did the side by side install, you can boot off windows from the initial boot screen.
    What make/model is it?
