    Heys guys,

    I stumbled upon this website the other day, and I though it might be of interest to you.

    The idea is quite simple : when you have a beer, you log it into this site and rate it, and mabe add a few comments. You can browse through beers, breweries and other people's ratings. It's still in beta, but it seems a nice idea for those who tend to forget what they have had and how did it taste.

    The site seems US-made, so there is ample room for filling in Irish beers. The invite code is earlyaccess, so you should be able to setup an account.

    RateBeer and Beer Advocate are the big established sites for that sort of thing.

    Thanks for sharing the site LaBaguette! The site is US made :) But I definitely want it to expand globally

    And as BeerNut said, RateBeer and Beer Advocate are very well established sites for this sort of thing. I made this because I wanted something simple to use and something I could keep in my pocket while I am out, check out the mobile site on an Android or iPhone.

    Oh, a thread I forgot about.

    Yep I knew about BA and RateBeer, but although similar I think they don't really have the same usage. They are much more comprehensive and complex, and I saw hadthatbeer as a sort of "oh they have this weird beer in the pub, it sort of rings a bell... oh yeah I tasted it 6 months ago and it was crap" thing.

    Unless there's a mobile version of either BA or RateBeer ? I don't have a fancy phone, so I'm not really up to date on those things.

    Also, I had a dream about an app that could keep track of what's on tap in the various pubs where they serve beer I actually about. Turns out it exists, though this one is NY-based. Maybe a Dublin version could be interesting !

    I see a few people using Untappd, but I don't really know how it differs.

    There is also On Tap Now which I think is Michigan based for finding what is on tap.
