Bravia Sync not working

I've recently acquired a Sony Home Cinema System (DAV-DZ260) and trying to get the Bravia Sync working with my TV (Sony KDL 40EX402). I have the Cinema System connected by HDMI and optical cables, and I have HDMI Sync turned on on the home cinema system. However, when I go to HDMI set-up on the TV I get a message saying "No devices detected"

Has anyone experienced this and got a solution?

I've disconnected the cables from the TV, and turned-off and unplugged the TV for 5 mins. Then turned TV on and reconnected the cables - but this didn't solve it.

You could try a factory reset on both.
