Buying from a Japanese site

    Hey, has anyone bought anything off a Japanese site, like amazon Japan? Any thoughts or recommendations?

    I've been looking at a site (CD Japan) and the shipping costs are EMS (tracked), Register Air, Air Mail, and SAL (the cheapest). Does anyone know what SAL is? How long does it take for an item to arrive from Japan? Cheers, Coburger

    SAL is Economy Air with Japenese main postal service JP Post.

    Ive ordered loads from China and the surrounding areas

    What I buy is generally sent via DHL, but on the odd occasion its a smaller order.. I have always chose EMS, and can expect that within a week. Other standard airmail is normally around 2 weeks at least for me
