French wench melting my head

    Right, I dance Salsa, and I'm reasoanbly good for someone who has not been at it too long. THis is not the cause of any problem, of course. In the club there is a french girl, she seemed to enjoy dancing with and in the course of conversation told me she liked Irish men, going from this i asked her out, but she said she just had a break up and was off the market. Fair enough, I forgot about it, no big deal

    So then, another salsa club scene a few days later, she was there too, dressed to impress far more than her normal and dragged me up on the floor for a dancea s soon as she saw me. SHe told me that she would teach me french (from a previous conversation about the langauge) and asking me how long i would stick around dublin for, and how great a dancer i was, and then said "there was something she needed to talk to me about", basically all very attentive and interested in me - Right Im thinking, is she having second thoughts?

    ANyway, shortly after that she has got to leave, so i say ill see her at the net event, a few days later. When this comes around, again, right into my face, gets my number off me right away, pesters me for a dance. I did not get to speak to her at all that night but she still seemed interested. SO the next days involved a few texts agreeing to go to another event on friday night, she sounded keen that i be ready to dance with her there, but when tonight came around- nothing. No interest at all .

    Can anyone shed light on this? WHy the blowing hot and cold? Is this just typical of french women? Is she just a head melter that i should i avoid? I could do without this drama, but....... damn, she is hot.

    She has already told you she is not interested. She just wants to dance with you... You didn't listen to what she told you out straight.

    If she is just out of a relationship, it's not surprising that she'd be a bit inconsistent in her feelings. She may also want your number because she wants to dance with you and nothing more, Salsa having a reputation for being a bit imbalanced and male partners being a valuable find.

    She simply wants a dance partner and is flattering you with flirtation to make the situation fun and perhaps also so you don't feel bad about her not wanting to date you.
