Source Russian player Alisa Kleybanova was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma earlier this summer. She is currently in Italy receiving treatment. Alisa celebrated her 22nd birthday yesterday, 15th July. Very sad to see such a promising talent having to battle such an illness, especially at young age. Not sure yet…

Yes it so sad. She had pulled out of a lot of tournaments recently due to "illness" but never expected it to be something so serious.

Hope she pulls thru it and recovers.
