Hi, can't find this anywhere online! I was just wondering if it's possible to pay the registration fee in two halves instead of paying the 2000e in full in september? Thanks!

depends on the policy of each college -

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

if you're going to an university, they expect it upfront unless there's some major financial difficulty. It's the same with most colleges and IT's.

Not true - UCD lets you pay in instalments - as I said above - each college does it differently

does the county your living in make much of a difference in your chance of getting a grant if your parents are making under the maximum amount??does it depend on how many people are actually applying?

No - the rates are set - The county only comes into it depending on the distance of where you live - Page 35 and Page 39 show the rates http://www.studentfinance.ie/downloads/Student%20Grant%20Scheme%202011.pdf
