    Hi Guys,
    I've written a couple of posts before and got no reply, but hey might as well try again. I'm just finished my JC, and I'm taking the year out next year.... so I wont be in school. I'm really looking forward to this, but the whole point of it was to get a ton of work experience and do some networking...... so far not much has come my way..... what i'd like to know is .... does anyone know someone or have any ideas where i could get some work experience in the art world, i'm open to all fields and would really appreciate some advise, sorry my post is so long..... x

    Your age might be an issue, presumably you are over 14 but can you take a year out under 16? Are you technically 'leaving' school, presumably you have cleared this with the school. There might be insurance issues also if you are under 16.

    Sorry to sound obstructive, but you would want to have thought this through.

    You might consider contacting your local library and see if there are any projects you could see through for them. My daughter found them very helpful in her TY.
