Insulation.

I am looking at insulating a house myself and using 50mm backed kingspan insulated slabs against a solid block wall using glue and mushrooms. I have read breaking the mold but would need to get a condensation risk carried out.

What insulation level would this be compared to modern regs and what extra would I have to do to meet the new regs on a renovation?

Also I plan on building a block extension and use a 4 inch cavity with 3 inch aerobard platinum and then dryline internally with 50mm kingspan slabs.

Would this meet new building regs or what would it achieve?

Just trying to work out what would be most cost effective.

    Thanks. Stove Fan:)
