    Hi all,

I recently approached a group of individuals who are involved in illegal activities. I told them unless they stopped I would be reporting them. The accused me of Blackmail. Just wondering if this is blackmail as I looked it up and found this a definition "Force (someone) to do something by using threats or manipulating their feelings".

If what they are doing is illegal then it is not blackmail.

    EDIT: Plus what lucyfur said.

Unless you demanded something(cash, goods) from them not to tell then it's not blackmail.
