    Opinions?

I bought some of this (on recommendation) as a make up remover and I found it very strange - you apply it to your skin and wipe it off with cotton pads or a face cloth. It left an oily residue on my skin (I removed it with hot, wet cotton face pads and rinsed it afterwards with warm water) which did soak into my skin after a while. I was a bit divided as to whether I needed extra moisturiser (I have super dry skin, maybe a little combination during the summer) so I applied some about an hour later, before bed, and woke up this morning with very greasy skin (something that hasn't happened to me since I was in my early teens!).

Everyone who used this product seems to LOVE it, but I'm a bit "meh" - it's gentle (and promises not to leave your skin tight, but mine felt a little bit tight ever though there was an oily residue... very strange), is not expensive, has been around forever and is really good at removing make up but I'm not so sure about it cleansing skin (bit divided on that!). Am I the only one?!

It's really heavy I found, though I'd be much more a fan of wash-off type sudsy cleansers. It's revered as a cult beauty classic, and a bargain, but it was just too much for my skin. I do get dry patches so the richness wasn't all bad, but way too much for everyday use. It's great for taking off makeup though as you found too!
