it could be Eoin Mulligan. he finds it hard to get on the tyrone team..... but he's mugsy.. could it be someone from the meath or kildare team?

I thought it might be Cian Ward but I think he is injured this week so he wouldnt be i the team for this week. I could be wrong though.

Were either of the Brogans taken off against Wexford? Or maybe it was a Wexford player?

I suppose if you saw The Sunday Game you'd know who it was becuase they highlighted his play quite alot and showed him falling on his a*re when he was walking down the tunnel...

bernard was taken off (and rightly so). I think he was struggling as I seen him fail to run for a breaking ball in the first half.(jerking back)

but he aint that old so I reckon its someone who's in the game a good few years.

    Bernard was taken off.
I don't watch the Sunday Game anymore. Far too boring and the panelists (at least with the football) are far too pleased with themselves. A player could give an exhibition of football for 70 minutes in a game but they'd rather devote 20 minutes to analysing some controversial foul committed by another player rather than actually celebrate what's good in the game.

Are Dublin playing again this weekend? I don't think there's a challenge match even is there?

They all want to be Dunphy's at this stage, McStay is annoying as hell at this stage.

I used to like McStay but his sheer lack of impartiality and bias in the dying stages of the Dublin v Kildare match finished it for me. He's just another anti-Dub pundit who as yop has said previously will always look to raise the controversial issues than give credit where credit is due.

He wrote for the Mayo News maybe 10 years ago, was very good back then but from my own point of view I think that he thinks everyone heeds what he says so he can say what he likes.

In fairness to O'Rourke he is about the only one I listen to, Brolly is a plonker, Spilliane is 2 plonkers and McStay is the plonkers mother! :)

    could be Cian Ward

"Last weekend, I didn’t. Big swing. One from six would discourage another player, but not me, and, Kevin McStay vendetta or no Kevin McStay vendetta, I’ll be sticking to my shot selection policy right to the end"

He only scored 1 point against Galway.

Bernard Brogan scored 3 points against Wexford

It has to be a player from a team that won last week and is playing again this week so its someone from Kildare, Waterford, Meath or Tyrone. The two that sprinfg to mind are Ward or Mulligan, and seing that todays papers have reported Mulligan has quit the Tyrone panel it would seem to indicate Ward? Was he replaced against Galway??

Can't remember which, but one of Ward or Bray were taken off.... think it was Ward

    Thanks!

A farcical piece about and pertaining to no-one in particular, journalistic equivalent of Gift Grub.

Very true, I couldn't believe what I was listening to. You'd swear he had ten grand on Kildare or something.

Yeah satirical piece from the perspective of Bernard brogan I'd say. Shiny new stadium would insinuate Croker.

"More in your line kevin to advise Tony Davis on suit selection" brilliant!

Is Paul Howard writing these? I guess the Ross O'Carroll-Kelly thing has worn off and he needs to diversify........
