Sponsorship outside of OZ

    HI Guys

This is something i am sure has been talked about before but ive been working on it for months and I cant seem to find any answers.

Myself and my partner are looking to move to Sydney, I can go on a WHV to go find work or sponsorship etc. But the problem is my partner is too old for a WHV and does not qualify on the skills list. She has a lot of experience (13 years)in the area she works in.
She would qualify to go on a students visa which would get her into oz to try gain sponsorship but by the time you enroll on a course it ends up being very very expensive.
Would anyone know of any recruitment agents that would help or specialise in getting sponsorship in Oz from abroad, or do you thing it would be a waste of time applying for jobs in Sydney from here?

Would appreciate any help on this.

wouldn't say its a complete waste of time .........but that depends on what you work at.

If one of you are in an occupation that is in big demand in Oz then it might pay off, if not you would be wasting your time.

She works as an insurance broker, its not in high demand i dont think but there seems to be plenty of work in what she does. Probaly best to start applying and play it by ear.

Is she under 35? Check out a visa called bunac. Might be able to help. It's similar to a Whv

Would it be possible/Legal to go on a tourist visa, then while there try to get sponsorship? Basically you would have 3 months to find a sponsored job or go home. Thinking it could be the best route.
