Very painful/lethal things to Seanie Fitz, Bertie Ahern, Brian Cowan and Sean Quinn. Then I would bet all my money on McIlroy for the US Open, oh and Tiger for the intervening years.

That'd be 1996.
I'd learn to play an instrument, become a child prodigy by "writing" songs which go on to be huge hits.
Save up all my money until Google floats on the Stock market and invest in it.
Learn website design and computer programming.
Around 2003, I'd invent Facebook.
Mid 2008, by which time I'd be a billionaire, I'd sell all my shares and invest in gold.
