If your employer goes through the dismissal procedure with you (verbal, written, final etc), do they still have to pay you your notice term if you arent allowed to work it?

no if they go through the procedures they will usually suspend you on pay and then if they decide your fired/sacked they tell you and issue your p45

Unless it was instant dismissal for gross misconduct, then yes they do. They're just putting you on "garden leave" for your notice period.

No, if the terms of the dismissal broke your contract, then they do not have to honour it if you broke it first.
