Ago so I bought up and assembled chaos army last year and started a few beginner courses in GW. TBH though they brought me in and had me playing kids, so it was a bit of a clash in interests. So I am coming here wondering if there are any clubs in dublin at the moment that might take me under their wing and show me the ropes? As I am dying to get into it again.

Dublin Games Guild play in Gamer's World on Jervis street every Wednesday night from around 7pm.

I'd say that 30 somethings would be the most common age group, with some people in their 20s or older than 30s.

Call in some wednesday and have a look around - they're a friendly bunch and you should be able to arrange a game.

That's assuming your army is for Warhammer 40,000.

If you're playing Warhammer Fantasy then I'd suggest the same location but on a Tuesday. The Underground gamers. Mostly 20s-40s, and more active WHFB play. DGG have WHFB players too but it's more 40K focused.

I don't play either game currently so can't offer to give you a game myself - I used to play 40K but now play smaller skirmish games like Infinity (http://www.infinitythegame.com/infinity/en/)
