I reckon my last wisdom tooth is trying to make a bust now! Woke up this morning with noticeable throbbing pain in that side of my mouth, feels a bit familiar! :D BUT, I just got got a filling the other day on that side and it hasn't felt entirely flattened if you get me. Is there a chance that I'm drinking my teeth at night and that may have chewed into that filling a bit too much. Does wisdom tooth pain fade a bit after you've been awake for a while(in the early stages of it impacting I mean) I guess in a way there's nothing I can do and I'm just looking for people to chat me through this process again. I'm actually looking forward to it breaching the hull now :D last one then that's it. Really wish I had Pax9 though :(

    Hey OP

A high filling may cause some tenderness on the affected tooth and you will have a characteristic feeling that the bite is odd and being held up by that tooth.

You may also be feeling pain from a toothache, sometimes even when filled-a tooth may cause pain as it may have had deep decay beside the pulp and the nerves- you drill around that and the odd tooth just won't want to settle down, this may be felt as pain with hot/ cold short sharp pain or even a dull throbb, some settle some don't...

if caused by a partialled erupted and impacted wisdom tooth, you most likely with have food impaction and stagnation around the wisdom tooth. This causes gum tenderness and infection locally or even spreading. It can cause a bad taste or bad breath. Keep if really vlean for now with warm salty water rinses or corsodyl and then see a dentist/oral surgeon...

    Good luck,
    OS
