charger broken on year: 4/2007 macbook

hey gang

my charger aint workin no more

i have tried another charger so i know its teh charger

it just dont make teh green/tanora colored light come on no more

has anyone got a way of fizing this issue?

the problem started about2 months ago, but it was resolvable by plugging in and out multiple times until the light came on.

the machine is 4 years old, but maybe this is a known issue and would be covered under warranty?

There is or was a call back in relation to cable fraying on some Macbook charger cables; have a look on Apple's site to see if it's still open and if your model is covered by the call back.

It's probably the little pins in the magsafe adapter losing their springyness. I went through two of them on my 2007 Macbook. Glad I had 3 years of Applecare!

OP, unless you want a dodgy knockoff from eBay, Apple branded AC adapters are usually the same price everywhere.

I bought one of these a couple of months back, works out at ~€20 with free delivery. Its not official but it works fine for me so far and it is a fraction of the cost.
