I need to get a few Volvo parts and was wondering where is the most reasonable scrapyard around South Dublin?

I've used Southside Spares (Dun Laoghaire) before and found them to be dear.

Sure what would you need Volvo parts for? Chucking them off a cliff or turning them into a sculpture I can understand. But putting them on a Volvo? That's a bit much.

As an aside, I note that people who proclaim to be Volvo fans often don't drive them. Of course that's because Volvo owners have to walk everywhere.

On topic, what bits do you need?

I can get you a good deal on a can of petrol and a match.

Traynors (http://www.traynors.co.uk/) in the North are good and will post down items to you once in stock, also if the item is not the correct fit they'll take it back or exchange it the following week when they do their next delivery in your area.
Having said that though I'm on the look out for an petrol injector pump for a Volvo S40 GDI engine but Traynors didn't have any in stock.

I've contacted them several times and they won't reply to my e-mails.

No used summerhill few times got bad parts went back and they exchanged them but jesus give me a part that works first time. its not the cost of part we are based in wicklow nearly lost a customer. it was two days before we got him sorted with brake calipers. it was the time and road tolls that killed us. i don't think they check the parts just put the good with the bad then hand them out leaving u to decide. we use trainner now or red cow
