    Hi!

just asking on behalf of my friend who has a question about the grant.

She started college in september of 2009 and dropped out the following january. It was a level 8 and she had the full grant. This year she did a fas course and is now going to go back to do a plc. Is she entitled to a grant or is it impossible to get a grant for a course that is lower down than the first course done? or can she even get a grant for the plc?

    thanks in advance! :)

She should be eligible to apply as she did no more than one year of her Level 8 course (see c(iii) on Page 14 of the scheme at http://www.studentfinance.ie/downloads/Student%20Grant%20Scheme%202011.pdf)
