You could try drying them out by either driving around with the lights on for the day or leaving the car in sunlight, then remove the backing of the lights and use some rubber treatment on the seals and that may reseal them and keep them airtight.

i has a volvo once and they used to condense up, i used to remove the bulbs etc get in with a hairdryer and do that every now and then. worked a treat.

if theres a plastic hatch/lid that you need to remove/open to get at the light bulbs then take this out and leave it off for a while. should clear them up & it wont do any harm

This is a problem for some models, like on my model BMW.
As suggested take back cover off if you have it and drive without it.
I haven't noticed it would change anything lighting wise, just that car looks better without the fogged up lenses.

i dryed mine out and stuck a few packets of silica gel on the back covers. helped keep them dry for ages

    Sean's idea sounds like it's the easiest/cheapest.

This is a known problem on some cars - the lamp isn't getting enough air to vent out condensation. Search out part number "LJE 4133AA" and you'll find a vent tube that ought to be fitted to Jag XK8 headlamps to solve the problem.

Actually - here's the TSB that describes it: http://www.google.ie/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=5&ved=0CDYQFjAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jaguarforums.com%2Fforum%2Fattachments%2Fxk8-xkr-17%2F11523d1309523397-water-inside-headlamp-housing-417-05am2-headlamp-misting-pdf&ei=FW8fTrmSAcLX8gOnuYG0Aw&usg=AFQjCNHKPsBzDXIrX1zoNf7-dJcZlPoOYA

what make is your car . i had this problem with my BMW E39, there is rubber seal running along the top of the head lamp that you can see when you lift bonnet and remove plastic strip, the water lodges here and eventually leaks into lamp, i took both headlight off and siliconed it all the way round and it hasnt leaked since ( 2 years)and its simple job, i would recommend doing this regardless of car make as anything else i tried , eventually condensation came back after a good down pour.

    Irish weather would test anything.
