can anyone tell me if i wish to apply for the living alone increase as my spouse died last week

Will i be entitled to it if i have two children living with me who are over 40 and one is on the dole getting 188 euro a week and the other is self employed making 425 euro a week

    Many thanks

Unlikely as you are not alone. But there is no harm in applying.

As mp22 said it is unlikely but no harm in applying.

sorry your spouse has died. you wont get the living alone increase, as your not living alone. I'm presuming that either you or your spouse or both of you are retirees, in which case was he/she on a contributory or non-contributory pension? if it was contributory you will probably get the bereavement grant if you apply for it. i suggest you or a trusted family member or close friend/ neighbour call to the local CIC
