Hi, I've started medication and one of the side effects is sweating. It's not excessive during they day, but the trusty Lynx isn't up to the task past lunchtime!

Any suggestions? I've never been a roll-on person because I find it leaves a sticky residue.

The only good thing about Lynx is it's marketing, it's not a good product

Still try roll on solution, Sure are good
Not realy any difference between the men and ladies version, go for the cheapest.

If you're going heavy duty, Driclor is sold by boots

Are you in an office wearing a shirt
Get good shirts, cheap polyester will have have you sweating

If you're looking to control underarm sweating there is a very good product called Drichlor. It's available in most pharmacies and will stop underarm sweating completely. You put it on the night before and wash it off in the morning, then wear ordinary lynx or whatever just for the first few weeks after that you can decide to go without it.
However I will warn you it is very hard on the skin if you are in any way sensitive skinned then it may not be suitable. I only use it when I'm getting ready for a speech or special event where I will sweat a lot, that said it is safe for everyday use. I hope this helps, and as always ask your doctor if it's suitable for use in conjunction with the medicine!

Advice above for products covers it.
You also can take some other steps to help.

    1. Wear a white t-shirt under your shirt
    2. Bring wipes with you and after lunch just use a cubicle to wipe down and reapply - putting on more ontop of the morning application is never good.
    3. Reduce/cut out your caffeine intake - tea/coffee/coke etc can make sweating worse.
    4. Reduce sugary foods - same as 3
    5. Look at what you are eating at lunchtime - for example I know for certain if I eat foods with certain ingredients I get my good old favourite "sweat the head" syndrome... Same as 4 - if I eat too much chocolate it kicks off - feels like my eyeballs are sweating - not good since I am a choco-holic

Finally - with sweating the last barrier I have encountered is the mental one. If you are expecting to sweat and you start thinking about it - it will more than likely happen. Schedule some work to keep you busy just at that key time... Getting past that magic hour a few times will retrain your brain and hopefully remove the psychological trigger :) Worked for me anyway.

anhydrol forte is a medicated deodorant. Put it on the night before (roll on ) and wash it off in the morning. It works very well
