    Just curious about this;

    If an injunction is filed to stop something happening on a particular day but the the judge doesn’t make a decision before that day arrives does the party who the injunction is being sought against have the right to go ahead as no judgement has been made or do they have to wait for the judge’s decision????

    Thanks

    1. an injunction does not take effect until the court makes an order.

    2. If you propose doing something and you know an injunction is being sought to stop you should take legal advice before proceeding.

    Thanks for the reply.

    It's nothing that I'm doing, it's a case that I'm following in the US. An injunction is being sought to stop results being released tomorrow but the judge hasn't given her judgement yet. I was curious to know if the results could be released if a decision hadn't been given.

    Thanks again
