Asking on behalf of a friend:

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a full width bullbar or a 'A' shaped bullbar for a 2000 Toyota Landcruiser (LC90).

Anywhere along the east coast would be fine or delievered from further afield.

I'm just trying to find out if it is possible and how much they cost.

I remember being told they were illegal years ago because of the damage they could potentially do, if they hit a pedestrian?

Illegal from some recent enough year on on new stuff, not sure if it's illegal to buy and fit one to a vehicle older than that cut off, I suspect not.

John, place that do tow bars would be the best bet for this.

I have no idea if they are illegal or not. I personally wouldn't have them but the Jeep is being used on a farm and the owner doesn't want it getting damaged.

They shall be getting used in NI on a Jeep.

I didn't think you could get full width ones for an LC90 so I was asked to check.

Regarding the law, in UK (and we tend to follow) they are illegal fitted post 2007. If its on an older vehicle than that its ok.. but only if fitted pre 07. (Hard to prove) I drive a 90 series cruiser, there are full width bars for them but eBay is your only shot for that. New A bar still available for around 500 notes. Most guys in UK fit winch bumpers now.

If not then they would be able to give you the nearest supplier of them, or try team.ie, not sure if they do them, but worth a look.
