Hey im just looking for some info about tuition fees. Im an Irish national and In 2008 i dropped out a level 7 course in an IT after only 3 months. I never officially de-registered from that course though (i didnt know i had to)

Im hoping to start a new course this september, (a level 8 in a university) Because i started a course 3 years ago, does that mean I have to pay tuition fees for the course i want to start this september?!

PS I just finished a fetac level 5 course this may.

    Please help!!

You will probably have to pay full tuition fees for the first year of this course. They waive this if you return after 5 years and that is called "second chance student"

You can check with the DES student support unit on 057 9325317. Tell them what level you have and how long ago it was and they should be able to give you a straight answer on the fees.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
