    Hi all,

By any chance does anyone have a Garmin 305 available for sale?
My mate is looking to get one second hand and could be enticed by a good deal.
You can PM me if you have any details.

    Thanks!

PS Mods - Feel free to place this in G&E if you feel it belongs there but I'm hoping to grab the attention of people who themselves may not be looking for any Gear or Equipment.:)

They've come down in price a lot recently. I got one recently on pixmania.com, delivered in two days by courier. It cost €148 all included.
Raycun suggested it would have been cheaper on amazon, haven't checked it out.

I think menoscemo got one for 115 on amazon, ebay is a great resource for cheap new garmins.

I just had a look on ebay for Garmins but as I've only been running a few months I'm not entirely sure what I should be looking out for.I want to focus more on my time as I've done a few 10 Km runs and am aiming to do a half in October so need to have a better idea of how I'm doing.

    Any ideas?

The 305 is a very good watch, at a solid price on Amazon.co.uk. If you're not looking for all the bells and whistles (intervals etc). and want a smaller watch, I believe the Forerunner 110 can be picked up from Wheelworx for €130 at the moment (about the same price as it would be from Amazon).

for peace of mind of getting new one with guarantee and hassle of dealing with one-to-one on a second-hand deal would it not just be worth paying the 99 sterling on amazon.co.uk
