how do they work .......surly you must have another tractor and bale lifter tipping them on there ends ...then you could stack the bale on top with the cashel bale lifter ........if that is the case then they wouldn't be much use for a one man operation ?

I remember seeing this in operation at the ploughing champs last year. Seemed a good idea and could be operated with small tractors. Anyone any experience of using these?

looks an improvement on their first design!
I see where they are coming from but i just believe static wrapping at the stack should be the norm.

The paddles on the bale stacker thet Snowman linked above are so easy on the bale that you can just leave the bale on its flat, pull out half way, and tip the bale up on its end without doing any damage to it at all!! So it will easily tip the first bale on its end and drop the second bale on top.

We don't stack them any more than 1 high. Have a Nugent double bale handler and plenty of dry stacking space!

or if you have a hydraulic top link it makes the job really simple

the paddles can be removed so you can use the spikes inside for lifting the bales for feeding or for hay and straw

Don't want to start a new thread, so here goes, 6yrs on from last post here, does many have the cashel stacker with duck feet, and if so, how do ye find them, priced new one late they were 1500 all in delivered from a guy over the phone that I don't know. Few of them have come up for sale on dd of late, for half the new price, so I'm wondering for those who have one, are they any good, do ye find them good for drawing and stacking bales 2 high, do the mind the wrap better then the traditional type bale carrier??? Thanks for any input in advance
