my friends 8 year old boy has adhd. The wait between reveiws as way to long, she felt that the meds are doing nothing for him only giving him the side affects. she has taken him off the meds now since school finished,and it turns out he is way worse, so either the meds have been helping him, or they have made him worse????…

Talk to your doctor. Medical advice is not permitted. Taking a child off prescribed medication and then asking about side effects falls under that.
